The kaleidoscope is the original screen-free entertainment device — point the front lens at any light source and the back eyepiece shows you a symmetrical, slowly-shifting pattern. This model adds two features over a basic kaleidoscope: a switch on the side flips between star-pattern and square-pattern view, and the front of the unit accepts colored lenses that change the entire palette.
